Browser-only data conversions

Pasted data and supported files are converted on your device. That content is not sent to SolConverter's conversion server. SolConverter does not impose a fixed file-size limit on browser-only data conversions.

Server conversion lifecycle

Markdown-to-PDF and file-to-Markdown workflows upload selected files to temporary object storage. An upload that has not entered conversion expires after 15 minutes. After successful conversion, the source is deleted once the output is verified. A failed input remains only until its original 15-minute upload window expires.

Completed Markdown, PDF, data-conversion and ZIP artifacts expire two hours after completion. Preview and download links are short-lived access URLs and never extend the artifact's two-hour lifetime.

File sizes

SolConverter does not impose a fixed file-size limit on its conversion tools or generated files. Very large files may take longer to upload, process, preview, and download, and completion still depends on available browser memory, device resources, network conditions, and service capacity.

Service and analytics information

The application and its infrastructure may process limited technical information such as browser type, device information, request timing and error diagnostics to operate, measure and protect the service. Analytics is enabled only when the configured browser integration is available.

Your choices

You control which files you submit. Do not use SolConverter for content that requires a data-processing agreement, regulated storage or a specific retention commitment unless those terms have been agreed separately.
