About SolConverter
Make document conversion easier to trust.
SolConverter is a focused toolkit for converting common document and data formats into clear, reusable output.
Built for useful output
Documents are often difficult to reuse once they leave their original format. SolConverter turns that content into forms that are easier to review, edit, share and keep in a long-lived workflow. The original file remains the source of record because conversion can simplify layout, styling and embedded objects.
Keep the workflow simple
Choose a file, convert it, then review the result before using it. Complex layouts, scanned files and tables may need a final human check, so the original file should remain your source of record.
Editorial and verification standards
Product capability claims are reviewed against the current frontend, backend configuration, renderer behavior and automated tests before publication. Technical guides distinguish verified behavior from limitations and link to primary documentation for third-party formats and libraries.
- Describe file handling and retention periods exactly as implemented.
- Describe unsupported formats and lossy transformations clearly.
- Date technical articles and update them when product behavior changes.
- Keep source citations close to the claims they support.
How files are handled
Browser-based data conversions remain on the device and do not have an app-defined file-size cap. Server conversions use short-lived uploads: unprocessed uploads expire after 15 minutes, successfully processed inputs are removed after output verification, and completed outputs expire after two hours. Full details are available in the Privacy Policy.
Who publishes the guides
The SolConverter Team maintains the conversion tools and publishes the technical guides. The team is represented as an organization because the content is reviewed against the product implementation rather than attributed to an invented individual author.
